A Nerd Chrismukah Wishlist: BSG Top Gun Mug

I stumbled upon this piece of amazingness today and have to share it with you. A definite must-have for the Viper-flying pilot in your life. After all that toaster killing action, it is always best to drink out of this mug!Quantum Mechanix Inc. has created a 1:1 prop replica “Top Gun” stein from Battlestar Galactica.

The Battlestar Galactica Top Gun Stein stands 9 inches tall and is 4 3/4 inches wide at the base. It lists the pilots who achieved top gun status, including Starbuck and Kat. It even includes the phoenix emblem on the underside of the cast-metal lid.
The stein’s body is kiln-baked and feels substantial in your hand. It’s the perfect vessel to toast fellow hot shots — or to hold your morning coffee.
And make sure on that same site to check out AWESOME personalized BSG dog tags. Another MUST HAVE!

A Nerd Chrismukah Wishlist: WoW Games

world of warcraft sale

Blizzard is holding a rsale right now for their World of Warcraft products until December 19. The World of Warcraft: Battle Chest is just $5 (reg. $19.99) and it comes with the original game, The Burning Crusade expansion, and a free first month of the massive MMORPG. They’ve also got both of the other expansions on sale too. The Wrath of the Lich King expansion is only $10 (reg. $39.99) and the Cataclysm expansion is just $20 (reg. $39.99). Meaning for just $35 you can get sucked in to everything that World of Warcraft has to offer, and that’s an exceptionally great deal if I do say so myself.

On top of the game being on sale, Blizzard has also discounted the adorable Pandaren Monk companion pet to $5 (reg. $10) and the epic Celestial Steed Mount to $10 (reg $25).

Definitely worth purchasing if you or someone you know has been eying any of these games.

A Nerd Chrismukah Wishlist: Zombie Garden Gnomes

The zombie gnomes created by designer Doug Hudson have made the rounds on the internet in the past, but this newly found pic is absolutely priceless.

However, the figures themselves can be had for $39 and $49 on Etsy for the “Rising Dead” and “Walking Dead” versions respectively.

A Nerd Chrismukah Wishlish: Zombie Attack Barbie

[via Sarah Anne Langton]

From the 1950s onwards girls were encouraged to hone their zombie slaughtering skills in preparation for the inevitable apocalypse. Though young ladies dispose of the undead with ease today, toys such as Mattel’s 1962 ‘Zombie Attack Barbie’ were instrumental in helping to habituate girls to a new social norm where zombie disposal would become a very necessary life skill.

Now a collectors item ‘Zombie Attack Barbie’ played a salient role in ensuring the survival of countless young girls who grew up ready and willing to slaughter the zombie menace. This much loved toy still holds fond memories for so many of the lovely ladies from our Zombie Clearance Squads today.

This Barbie is definitely worth the search for. I would LOVE the person bought be this! Maybe include the Zombie Ken with that.
