A Nerd Chrismukah Wishlist: MW3 Branded Gifts!

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 is the hottest game right now, so what do you get that gamer that already has MW3 for Chrismukah? Well, here is a list.

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 Jeep Wrangler

Just like last year, the Jeep brand is back to promoting the latest Call of Duty game. The auto maker’s special edition Wrangler is available in two-door and four-door varieties, sporting a black or silver paint job. You’ll find Call of Duty logos emblazoned everywhere, on the interior and exterior, but no live ammunition. Prices start at around $36,000, so I hope you started saving for this one last year.

Turtle Beach MW 3

Turtle Beach Ear Force Call Of Duty Headsets

Turtle Beach released a line of four Call of Duty-branded Ear Force headsets for this holiday season. The Foxtrot, Charlie, Bravo and Delta models sell for $99, $129, $179 and $299, respectively. The higher the price, the more robust the featureset: the Foxtrots are stereo audio cans; Charlies are packed with eight speakers to deliver in-ear 5.1 surround sound; Bravos add a rechargeable battery and built-in Digital Signal Processor to the mix; and Deltas are the best-of-the-best, with Dolby 7.1 sound and Bluetooth support.

Modern Warfare 3 Console

The Call of Duty fan you’re gift-shopping for almost certainly has a gaming console already. If that person happens to be an Xbox 360 user, you might want to consider the MW3-branded limited edition console from Microsoft. The console and pair of included controllers are skinned to look like they’ve been through a warzone. The package also includes exclusive downloadable avatar items and a standard edition copy of the game, which the gift’s recipient can easily trade in for credit toward a Call of Duty Elite subscription. The whole package will cost you $399.

Modern Warfare 3 Wireless Controller

Depending on which console you do your Duty on, you’ll have different options on the wireless controller front. On the Xbox 360 side, you can buy the same gamepad included in the Modern Warfare 3 console bundle (above) on its own, for $59.99. PlayStation 3 owners can instead look to third-party peripheral maker PDP, which is selling an MW3-branded controller equipped with night vision green LED lights for $49.99.

Modern Warfare 3 Wireless Xbox 360 Headset, With Bluetooth

Modern Warfare 3 Wireless Xbox 360 Headset, With Bluetooth

This is a cool one for Xbox 360 owners. You’re looking at a wireless Xbox 360 headset that also doubles as a Bluetooth headset. Not only can it be used with any Bluetooth-enabled phone or PC, it’s also one of the only wireless Xbox 360 headsets that will also play nice with a PlayStation 3. You’ll get eight hours of talk time from the headset’s rechargeable battery; there’s also a packed-in code for an exclusive Xbox 360 Avatar item. All for just $69.99.

Logitech MW3-Branded Gaming Keyboard And Gaming Mouse

These two items aren’t available in a bundle, but they do pair well together. Logitech’s Modern Warfare 3 toys include a specially designed G105 keyboard and G9X mouse, available for $79 and $99, respectively. Both peripherals are wired and feature Call of Duty branding. The keyboard features six programmable keys and all of the usual bells and whistles you’d expect from a high-end gaming keyboard. The 5700 dpi mouse offers up nine programmable buttons and internal memory that is capable of storing up to five different gaming profiles.

Munitio Special Edition Billets 9mm Headphones

Munitio’s special edition Billets offer high-end audio performance at the low-ish price of $69.99, but that’s not why a Duty fan might covet them. The MW3 branding helps, but the real draw here is the design; the two earbuds are built to resemble actual 9mm bullet shells. The cans also feature a built-in mic, so you can take calls in between rocking out.

FPS Freek Elite

FPS Freek Elite

There technically isn’t any Call of Duty branding on KontrolFreek’s new FPS Freek Elite thumbstick attachments, but it’s clear from the packaging that you’re meant to think of Activision’s FPS when you buy these. For $13.99 you get two snap-on thumbstick extenders that offer improved control over your in-game thumb twiddlings. One size fits all for both Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 official controllers, though KF’s website notes that the FPS Freek also works with “many” third-party options as well.

Mountain Dew And Doritos Fun Pack

Give any Call of Duty-loving gamer the gift of double XP with specially marked packages of Mountain Dew and Doritos. Codes packed in with these items can be redeemed for an in-game double XP bonus that applies to Modern Warfare 3‘s competitive multiplayer mode. For those who are serious about being a cheapskate during the holiday season, there’s no better gift for a Call of Duty fan.
