And Then Came Mirror, Mirror

When you thought we heard from all the remakes of Snow White, nope we haven’t. Only five days ago, I wrote about Snow White and the Huntsman, a film that I am most interested to see. Now Relativity Films released Mirror, Mirror.

Mirror, Mirror to me feels like a very PG-13 version of the famous fairy tale story. Throw in a few famous actors, some laughs and you have yourself the  movie.

Starring Lily Collins (The Blind Side) as an exiled princess who enlists the help of seven resourceful rebels to win back her birthright and Oscar-winner Julia Roberts as an evil Queen who steals control of a kingdom, in a magical adventure comedy filled with jealousy, romance, and betrayal that will capture the imagination of audiences the world over. The film also stars Armie Hammer (The Social Network) as the object of their affection, Prince Andrew Alcott, and Nathan Lane (The Birdcage) as the hapless and bungling servant to the Queen.

Mirror, Mirror is set to release on March 16, 2012.

Tell us what you think of this Snow White?

  1. Looks decidedly ‘meh’ to me. PASS.
